Welcome! Thank you for visiting my Instructional Technology Portfolio. My name is Kimberlee Witt and I am an Elementary Education major at Kennesaw State University. I was previously enrolled in ITECH 3100, Improving Learning with Technology in the Elementary Classroom. Throughout the course, I learned all about technological tools that will assist me in amplifying my future students' learning environment. After my completion of the course, I became knowledgable on the National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers (ISTE-T) and will now be able guide my students to ensure their mastery of the ISTE-S. My instructor for the course confronted us with the tasks of using technology in ways that support and encourages student engagement, utilize higher-order thinking, and solving problems as outlined in the ISTE-T and ISTE-S. It was my personal and professional goal to complete this course and graduate from KSU with a solid foundation of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPAK) to ensure that I have the necessary tools to teach subject content to my future students effectively with the inclusion of technology. I invite you to explore my portfolio to take a look at some of the many ways that I can use instructional technologies in the classroom. The topics that will be available to be viewed of my work can be selected from the menu button in the upper left corner.
